Brussels Conference on Afghanistan: October 2016

The Brussels Conference on Afghanistan took place in Brussels on 5th October 2016. The conference brought together 75 countries and 26 international organizations and agencies. During the course of the conference the government of Afghanistan presented its reform agenda for endorsement of the participants. And renewed the partnership for peace and prosperity between the government of Afghanistan and international community.

The conference participants endorsed the ambitious reform agenda of the government of Afghanistan and ensured continued international community’s political and financial support for Afghanistan for the next four years. The total sum committed by the international community to is US $ 15.2 billion.

We will track the (anti)-corruption related commitments made by the Afghan government during the course of the Brussels Conference and put up the results on the website for public information.
